Katherine Jean Bolduan known by the name Kate Bolduan in her profession is a journalist of American of American origin. She is most well-known as anchoring CNN's morning program At This Hour. Her previous roles included co-host on the CNN Monday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan took part in the award-winning coverage by CNN of presidential elections 2012 and 2016. Bolduan has also been a congressional correspondent based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan, as part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congress and legislative events including negotiations to raise the loan limit for federal government and the Super Committee deliberations. Additionally, she was an assignment reporter covering general stories such as the 2009 Christmas Day bombing attempt the significant Supreme Court decision on Obamacare and the implementation of Obamacare's stimulus program of the government in 2009.
