Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer was one of the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. Her father was enthusiastic about theatre at an early time. As a student of Emory University, he performed in several productions in Atlanta. He joined the Air Force in 1953. While being stationed at Biloxi Mississippi was cast in the military's production, which featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was also in the air force. The two married in 1955 and their first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana following his departure from the Air Force in 1957. In 1960, the family relocated to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of the local children's Sunday matinee show called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They also created an organization that lasted for six years called the Actors and Writers Workshop later the same year. Lelisa Billingsley often referred to as Lisa was born in 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
