Simone Biles
Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be one of sport's best athletes. Biles was the very first female gymnast from America to ever win four gold medals at one Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to have won consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles together with her siblings Adria and Ronald Biles were adopted as children by the grandparents of Houston. Simone was introduced to the sport by her daycare instructor Aimee Borman, when she was six years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles won a gold medal in vault, and a bronze medal in floor gymnastics at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. In 2011, she began competing in elite levels of gymnastics competition. In less than two years, she had become the top athlete in her field. Biles was notable because of her unstoppable performance enthusiasm and level of effort she introduced throughout each competition--vault bars that were uneven, balance beam and ground exercise.
